To maintain the high performance of either a Reverse Osmosis system or one of our POE systems, it is essential to maintain a standard water pressure. The ideal recommended pressure is between 45-55PSI for either system to operate at their highest capability.
A reverse osmosis system specifically requires an ideal pressure of 50-55 PSI to operate effectively. If the water pressure drops below 40 PSI, it can render the RO system ineffective, resulting in reduced production and premature fouling of the RO membrane.
In the case the water pressure is too high, the use of a pressure regulator is recommended to reduce the pressure to ideal levels. If the pressure is too low, a booster pump can be used to increase the pressure. It is essential to maintain the right water pressure for the effective operation of any water filter but especially in an RO system.
We can provide you with pressure regulators or booster pumps depending on your specific need.
Contact us and we will be happy to help you solve any issues with your water pressure first before installing your filtration system, so we can help you achieve optimal filtration rates and also to ensure the longevity of your water purification system, so you can experience the guaranteed all round customer satisfaction when purchasing a PuraLife Water Filter.

Which is the unit used to measure the total amount of inorganic and organic substances that are dissolved in water. These substances can include minerals, salts, metals, and other chemical compounds.
TDS is commonly used in water filtration, especially in the context of reverse osmosis water filtration (RO).
